An original work by Kimiko — a self-taught painter based in Amsterdam and Almere whose practice centers on trauma, mental health, and emotional healing. Each painting begins with self-portraiture: she photographs herself, builds layered digital compositions, then translates these onto canvas using acrylics, oils, and leaf gold accents.
